Event Decoration & Styling FAQ



​What areas do you service?
I provide balloon decoration for  all London area and the surrounding areas.

Can I meet with you at my event space ?
Yes.  An on-site consultation is available on select weekdays for an additional fee. You can  take pictures, video and measurements and send us the details for a phone consultation at no cost.


How far in advance should I place my order?
Event set up dates and times are first come first serve. To avoid disappointment that we are not available for your event date, we suggest you contact us once you have secured your venue

 How long does set-up take?
 Smaller décor (balloon arches, centrepieces) usually takes 1–2 hours. Larger installations (backdrops, full room styling) may take longer—we’ll confirm timing with you before your event.

Can decorations be used outdoors?
Yes, but weather conditions (wind, rain, heat) can affect certain displays. We’ll recommend the best options for outdoor use and ask you to provide suitable cover (e.g., a gazebo).

 Do you charge to deliver/set up or takedown ?
 The quote is include delivery , set up and takedown their is no hidden charges.

What is the purpose of the security deposit?
Damage Protection: This provides coverage for any potential harm to the rental items.
Delayed Returns: If items are not returned or made ready for collection as scheduled, the deposit will be lost.

What about items not listed ?
We're always looking to add to our collection so do share your ideas.

How long I can hire the equipment for ?
The costs quoted are on a daily basis , however, depending on the scheduled pick-up and drop-off times, the products may be in your possession for a longer period. If an alternative pick-up date is not arranged in advance, this will apply.

What is the cancellation policy ?I take action promptly after a client books an event by ordering supplies and reserving the time/date for decoration.   Client may cancel an order 60 days  or more prior to event date and will be eligible only for a credit on next event equal to money paid. Orders/Bookings less than 60 days from the event date are not eligible for cancellation.

Event Decoration – Terms & Conditions

By booking event decoration services with Nosila Face Painting & Events, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These ensure a smooth, safe, and professional service.

Bookings & Payments
  1. A deposit  (non-refundable) is required to secure your date. The balance is due no later than 7 days before the event.
  2. Bookings are confirmed only once the deposit is been paid .
  3. Late payments may result in cancellation of services without refund.

Cancellations

1. Cancellations are not refundable. Deposits will be lost in the event of cancellation.

2.If you need to change your date, we will do our best to accommodate rescheduling subject to availability and any additional costs. Please note: depending on the amount of notice given, your deposit may still be lost.

Setup & Pack Down
  1. Our team requires adequate access, time, and space to complete set-up safely. Please provide accurate venue access details in advance.
  2. Standard set-up times vary depending on the size of the installation. We’ll confirm timing during booking.
  3. Any delays caused by incorrect information, restricted access, or venue restrictions may affect the final outcome.
  4. We will return to pack down and remove hire items unless otherwise agreed.

Venue Permissions & Responsibilities
  1. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure the venue allows decorations, balloons, or any other items booked.
  2. Nosila Face Painting & Events cannot be held liable if the venue restricts installation or use of certain materials (e.g., helium, adhesives, candles).
  3. The client must inform us of any venue rules (e.g., no tape on walls, ceiling height limits, access restrictions).

Outdoor Installations
  1. Outdoor décor is weather-dependent. High winds, rain, or extreme heat may limit what can be installed.
  2. The client is responsible for providing suitable cover (e.g., gazebo, marquee) to protect decorations.
  3. We cannot guarantee longevity of balloons or décor outdoors due to weather exposure.

Damage, Loss & Liability
  1. The client is responsible for ensuring guests do not damage decorations during the event.
  2. Any hire items (e.g., props, backdrops, sequin walls) must be returned in good condition. Lost or damaged items will incur replacement costs.
  3. Nosila Face Painting & Events is fully insured; however, liability does not extend to misuse, negligence, or failure to follow instructions.

Health & Safety
  1. We use only professional-grade, safe materials and follow strict safety procedures.
  2. Balloons and small décor items can pose a choking hazard. Children must be supervised at all times around decorations.
  3. Nosila Face Painting & Events cannot be held responsible for injuries caused by improper use of décor or equipment.

Photography & Marketing
  1. We may take photographs of completed decorations for use on our website and social media, unless the client requests otherwise in writing.
